MOVE OVER PERCY HOPE

My Annual Pilgrimage to Alaska's Wilderness

As I embark on my annual summer pilgrimage to Alaska's breathtaking wilderness, anticipation and nostalgia fill my heart. This journey again leads me to the quaint, historic town of Hope, nestled along the waterway known as Turnagain Arm. Here, I will be reunited with my dear friends Tom and Barbara Miller and their delightful family, whose warmth and hospitality have become integral to my Alaskan escapades.

Hope is more than just a picturesque former gold mining town; it is a place steeped in history and brimming with stories waiting to be told. Here, I found the inspiration to pen my novel, Hope City - The Alaskan Adventures of Percy Hope, drawing from the rich tapestry of the town's past and the rugged beauty of its surroundings.

As I traverse the stunning landscapes of the Kenai Peninsula, I am eager to share my adventures with you. From the serene tranquility of the vast wilderness to the vibrant local culture, every moment in this majestic land promises to be an unforgettable experience. Join me as I explore the wonders of Alaska, capturing the essence of its untamed spirit and the timeless allure of Hope.

This year, I feel an even deeper connection to the journey, as if I am stepping into the shoes of Percy Hope himself. The tales of yesteryears seem to whisper through the wind, urging me to discover more about this enchanting place. As I immerse myself in Hope's serene beauty and rich heritage, I invite you to join me in this exploration. Together, we will uncover the magic of Alaska and the inspiration it continues to bestow upon us.
